With all of the problems NYC has had with their CM, why not open the floodgates and storm NYC? California can storm LA, Santa Cruz, San Francisco.
Has there ever been a "regional" CM or do enjoy going to other town's CM?
Support is in numbers. I always ride SF and I just moved to Oakland. They're always fun!
One last thought. I want to see one random day with 3,000 bicyclists crowding out BART. (Bay Area Rapid Transit for you non Bay folk)

I'm behind it! I live in SoCal (Riverside) and would love a storm of LA! It seems the LA folks themselves only put one on every once in a blue moon.

At the inaugural protest critical mass rides people came from all over (baltimore, new york, one guy from south bend IN!!). It was awesome! I would TOTALLY traavel for CM again, and get as mnay people as possible to go with me!

I went to NYC for the halloween CM, it was great. they cops were great - i think the attitude was "what the hell are you people doing?" "whatever, have fun" Theyreally do not like it when you stop you bike in front of traffic. i think thats the big stinky point. as long as you are moving they dont care. at l;east on that ride.
--- I do not support clogging BART with bikes. what is the purpose? you are allowed to have a bike, so i dont see what the protest it. I dont like to protests for no reason.

i'd love to do a regional CM somewhere out here in the pacific northwest, as a kind of cultural exchange...
cuz in my fair city, we have NO cop presence whatsoever (knock wood) at our rides, and it's fuckin' beautiful!
this is in high contrast to the ones i've attended out east (in toronto) over the years. last august i though i was gonna get a ticket for nothing at all, they were just being aggro towards everyone.
any seattle/vancouver/wherever folks into organizing something?
