Hey all,

I've just joined this tribe and wanted to spread the word about a cross Canada bicycle trip that I am embarking on. This trip is in memory of Alexandria Tucker a friend and transwoman who killed herself April 14th/05. The focus of the trip will be to hold speaking engagements along the way and raise issues around transgender awareness and suicide prevention. I have already done lots of networking (as some of you may already know fundraising is one of the hardest things to do when planning a trip) but thought it wouldn't hurt to also post something to this list. We are in desperate need of $$$ and a camperized van that would make it across Canada and back. Any amount would help us reach our goal. You can find our contact info on the website.
