Brooklyn Critical Mass

The Brooklyn ride has been going on since July of this year and has been a big success so far. It happens on the second Friday of every month, leaving from Grand Army Plaza at the north end of Prospect Park around 7pm or so. It's way smaller and way, way more laid back than the Manhattan ride, so come out and take it easy.

    Wait, did I say laid back? Actually I meant crazy buttloads of cops. Yeah, that's what I meant. For some reason, the NYPD has decided that it's better to pay a bunch of cops beaucoup overtime to follow and intimidate a bunch of people on bicycles than to, say, chase down crack dealers or rapists.
